No Personal Information Collected

GeoProwl does not collect personal information from any user. There are no accounts, no email collection, no login, and no registration. We do not ask for or store names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other identifying information.

What We Do Store

On your device (localStorage): Game scores, streaks, progress, and a randomly generated session identifier. This data stays on your device and is not linked to your identity.

On our servers: Anonymous game results (scores and completion data) associated with a one-way hashed session identifier. This data cannot be traced back to any individual.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited and how long users spend on them. GA4 anonymizes IP addresses by default. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser plugin.

Each service has its own privacy policy governing the data they process.

Children

GeoProwl is designed for educational use by students, teachers, and families. Because we do not collect personal information from any user, the site is compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) by design.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Since we don't collect contact information, we cannot notify users directly — please check back periodically.
