About Landing Sequence
Land the same lander on 8 different worlds and the controls feel completely different every time, because each body's real surface gravity changes how much thrust you need and how fast you fall. The Moon's gravity is about a sixth of Earth's, so landings feel floaty and forgiving; Titan has a thick atmosphere that slows descent on its own; Mars sits in between, with just enough gravity and just enough atmosphere to make it genuinely tricky.
It's the same core challenge every real planetary landing faces — burn too much fuel too early and you can't correct later; burn too little and you don't stop in time.
